The Club Programs
The Club is dedicated to academic achievement with a unique "Make The Grade" promotion. Health and safety promotions are held throughout the year in a fun environment for all families.

The objective of the Club is to reach out to the community to improve study habits and give back to the community through a variety of promotional activities hosted by the Kids Club and its sponsors.

Innovation
While Kids Clubs are common throughout the country, there is no other promotional element that focuses mainly on education, health and safety for kids. The Stamford Town Center Kids Club awards members a $25 savings account if they increase grades throughout the year in a unique promotion called "Make the Grade". If kids have straight A's throughout they year, they receive a $100 savings account.

The Club Events
The Club hosts many events that not only enhance membership, but also provide non-members with opportunities to benefit from the events held in the mall.

A few of the activities include an annual "Bicycle Helmet Give-away", held in May where Stamford Police officers give bike helmets to children and the Kids Club provids bike safety tips.

The "Kids Helping Kids" promotion, hosted by the Kids Club provided less fortune children with back to school supplies and clothing. Thirty less fortunate kids were given cameras to take pictures of their dreams. The pictures (and a list of items they need for school) were on display in the mall, and shoppers purchased items for them from the list of needs.

Various family Health Fairs were held throughout the year, giving members an opportunity to learn of ways to live a healthy lifestyle. Other Kids Club events included cartoon character appearances by the PowerPuff Girls, Spiderman, and Star Wars characters.

About The Club
In the first year of operation, Stamford Town Center registered over 1,100 elementary school children with parental approval in the Kids Club. Each year membership grows as more kids join the club.

Over $15,000 has now been awarded to kids who "Make the Grade" in the educational incentive program. Over 200 back to school items (shoes, apparel, and supplies) were purchased for 30 less fortunate children in the "Kids Helping Kids" promotion. In partnership with Stamford Police, nearly 2,000 bike helmets are given away each year.
