J. Seward Johnson
A Sculpture Exhibit

Each year Stamford Downtown hosts a distinguished outdoor sculpture exhibit designed to attract both local and regional audiences. This year an extraordinary collection of 53 of J. Seward Johnson's works with its whimsical and realistic characters will grace our downtown. Sculptures will be chosen from three of his major series - Celebrating the Familiar, Icons Revisited and Beyond the Frame. The latter series is museum quality art which will be on display in the galleries of the University of Connecticut in Stamford Downtown.

The Stamford Convention & Visitor Bureau
Created in 1993 by the Connecticut General Assembly, the Convention & Visitor Bureau is a not-for-profit economic development, sales and marketing organization representing the fifteen communities of southwestern Connecticut. The Bureau represents all travel and tourism-related businesses, marketing these businesses to domestic and international leisure travelers, meeting planners, tour operators, sporting event organizers, the film industry, travel agents, and travel/trade media.
